Tanah Tingal Field Trip

TANAH TINGAL

HERE WE COME !!!

KG students of Ananda Islamic School had a field trip on Friday, 26th November 2010. Everybody was excited to go to Tanah Tingal to experience being “Petani Cilik”

When we arrived there, we had a welcome snack and drink. Then the children were divided into three groups; Kura-kura, Harimau & Bintang. They were led by kakak-kakak from Tanah Tingal. At first, the children decorated the caping, then they did the activities differently according to their group. They caught the fish, bathed the buffalo, pounded paddy, did gebyok, and pasted
the seeds. The children did not feel reluctant to go into the fish pond and were not afraid to bathe the buffalo eventhough there were some students who refused to do so.

The children were happy when they were able to catch the fish and put it into the jar. After bathing time, children, teachers and parents had lunch together. It was raining in there so we had to wait until the rain stopped. We all boarded the bus though it was still drizzling, but fortunately the children had the caping with them. Our little ones went home exhausted, even some of them fell a sleep in the bus.

Rumah Dancow Field Trip

Wednesday, 10th November 2010 was the most awaited day for Nursery Children! It was the day of their educational trip to Rumah Dancow at Gandaria Jakarta Selatan. The children arrived to school with smile on theirfaces.They had gathering in the hall first with Ms. Lula & Ms. Iin. We went there by bus. The children sat at the front seats and the parents at the back seats. The children were very excited through the journey. We left at 08.45 a.m and arrived there around 10.15 a.m. We were welcomed warmly by Rumah Dancow staff.

Rumah Dancow provided a lot of activities. The children were divided into 2 groups. At first the parents consulted about their children growth. Then we went to story telling room, Music room, Gym room, Indoor playground and Art room. The children really enjoyed and had the fun with all the activities. It was time to leave at 01.30 p.m. We thought the children felt tired and would sleep in the bus, in fact they prefers to chat with their friends. We were really proud to our Nursery Children for being independent throughout the trip.

Outing to Taman Wisata Keramik Citra

On Thursday,27th October 2010, Primary students held an outing to “Taman Wisata Keramik Citra” in Pondok Aren – Tangerang, an effective program for the children to develop their creativities and imagination based on their age. We arrived there around 10.00 a.m. We were welcomed warmly by their staff, Pak Rachman.The students felt glad and enthusiastic. At first, they were shown the technique to change the clay into something, then they did by themselves.They could play and learn with clay and created anything they wanted, e.g ; vase,fish, glass, etc.They were guided by the friendly staff but they really tried their best to do the activities.

After creating something with the clay, the students saw the process of burning the clay. Pak Rahman explained very clearly how the process of burning the clay in the oven so it would be harder.Then the students had their lunch provided by Taman Wisata Keramik Citra and Prayed Dzuhur.Before going home, Taman WIsata Keramik Citra gave goodie bags to the students and Certificate to Ananda Islamic School then we posed together. We went home at 1.00 p.m and arrived at Ananda at 02.05 p.m.

KSN Expo & Award 2010

Ananda Islamic School joined to KSN Expo & Award 2010 with Kak Wondo at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on 03rd October 2010. It was broadcasted by TV ANAK SPACETOON on 17th October 2010.

Alhamdulillah … All praise be to Allah … Our students got four trophies for some competitions:

1.Ananda Khayla Syahada from Primary one as Runner – Up II.

2.Muslimah from Kindergarten A Medina as Runner – Up III.

Dancing Competitions :

1.Kindergarten B ‘Arofah & Mina as Runner – Up III.

2.Kindergarten A Medina & Mecca as Nomination.

We would like to say congratulations for all of you and thank you to the children and all teachers for your hardworking and sprit… We’ll do better for another competitions …. Amen….

SeaWorld Fieldtrip—Nursery Students

It’s glad to see Nursery B students were really independent in the bus without their parents. The children really enjoyed the journey to Sea world. They were really proud of themselves to be an independent children. They explored themselves to see the fish and sea animals in Sea World. Even some of the children refused to be with their parents. We would like to thank to the parents of Nursery students for your trust and support to our beloved children. We are really proud of them….

Cimory Field Trip

Cimory stands for Cisarua Mountains Dairy, a place where you can find a farm and a milk factory in the same area. It lies at Puncak Street 435, km 77, in Cisarua- Bogor. Our Journey was started from the school when every student has felt excited doing the fieldtrip.

We arrived there around 10.15. We were very late and we almost did not get chance to milk the cow. So after having the welcoming drink, the children immediately went to the mini farm.We, then, did some farming activities, such as cow feeding and cow milking. Most children were very excited to do cow milking and cow feeding. Pak Donny from Cimory explained to the students about the process of cow milking. He also introduced the baby of the cow that just delivered a few days ago.
Our next activity was Cimory Factory. We can see the process of milk from the windows. Then The children could play in the playground and had lunch. After we had our lunch, we went to Cimory Education Theater.
The movie was about “A Journey from Cow to Milk”. Mr. Donny shared his knowledge about cow and milk, as he called, “Something from Our Grass to Your Glasss”. After watching movie, we saw milkshake demo and had the milkshake. It’s YUMMY… everybody likes it…. Even some of the children asked some more. Wish we can go there again!!!!!!!!!

Kartini Celebration

Ananda Islamic celebrated Kartini ‘s Day in Primary Building.Nursery and Kindergarten Students were having Fashion Show Competition.
It is glad to see the students performed confidently, although there were some of them from Nursery did not want to perform.
We could understand that Nursery’s students are still young and need more time to adjust themselves with this kind of occasion.
